EMCOR Group, Inc. Subsidiary Awarded Mechanical Services Contract For Chrysler Plant

NORWALK, CONNECTICUT, February 8, 2008 - EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses globally, announced that its PACE Mechanical Services subsidiary has been awarded a design build contract for specialized work in Chrysler's new Axle Plant in Marysville, Michigan.

 

PACE Mechanical will perform design build services for the HVAC, plumbing, and process work at the new facility, which is intended to provide advanced axle and drive train technology for Chrysler for years to come. The goal of this project is to attain LEED Certification (Silver or Gold) and reduce water and overall plant energy consumption.
